NAIL ENHANCEMENTS
We offer both CND Liquid & Powder and CND Plexigel nail enhancements, depending on the finish, strength and level of maintenance you’re looking for.
Some clients want added length and structure, while others simply need more strength and durability to support their natural nails. Form sculpting can be used where additional length is required, although many clients choose overlays or strengthening treatments on their own natural nails.
If you’re unsure which system would suit you best, we can advise based on your nails, lifestyle and the finish you’re looking to achieve.

NAIL HEALTH & AFTERCARE
Despite common myths, nail enhancements themselves should not damage the natural nail when they are applied, maintained and removed correctly.
Damage is more commonly caused by:

Our approach always focuses on protecting the natural nail alongside achieving a professional finish. All nail treatments are carried out using professional techniques and ongoing industry training. Following certified e-file training, an e-file may now be incorporated within selected nail services where appropriate.
CND SHELLAC
CND Shellac is ideal for clients wanting a glossy, long-lasting finish without the smudging, chipping or drying time associated with traditional nail polish. Applied like a polish but cured for durability, Shellac remains flexible while still providing excellent strength and wear, making it suitable for both weak nails and nails prone to splitting or breakage.
We use genuine CND Shellac products, with a wide range of colours and finishes available, including:

Shellac treatments include cuticle work and shaping of the natural nail as standard.
Shellac Aftercare:
To help maintain both your manicure and the condition of your nails, Solar Oil is recommended twice daily and is available to purchase within the salon. Professional removal is always recommended to protect the natural nail.
CND PLEXIGEL
CND Plexigel is designed to strengthen, shape and protect the natural nail while still maintaining a clean, professional finish.
The system provides long-lasting durability and can help support:

Depending on your nails and desired finish, we may recommend either Plexigel Builder or Plexigel Shaper.
Plexigel Builder
Plexigel Builder is used to create structure, strength and added length where required. It is also commonly referred to as BIAB (Builder in a Bottle). Available in clear and neutral tones, it’s ideal for clients wanting stronger, more durable nails with a natural-looking finish.
Plexigel Shaper
Plexigel Shaper creates a strong protective barrier over the natural nail and works particularly well underneath Shellac to improve durability and longevity. It’s ideal for clients wanting extra support while still keeping a lighter, natural feel.
Plexigel Aftercare
To maintain your nails and prolong the life of your treatment, we recommend treating your nails “like jewels, not tools” and applying Solar Oil twice daily and scheduling regular maintenance appointments are key to maintaining the health of your natural nails.
PEDICURES
Pedicure treatments at Sue’s Beauty Room are designed to improve both the appearance and condition of the feet while also providing time to properly relax and switch off.
All standard pedicures include:

You can choose either CND Shellac, Vinylux polish or a natural finish depending on your preference.
Whether you’re preparing for summer, maintaining your feet regularly or simply wanting some time to yourself, treatments are tailored around you.
If regular polish is chosen as part of your treatment, suitable footwear should be brought to wear after your appointment.
ELIM LUXURY PEDICURE
The Elim pedicure is a more advanced treatment designed specifically for dry skin, hard skin and callus build-up.
The treatment includes:

lower leg moisturising treatment
Unlike traditional hard skin removal methods, the Elim peel works by breaking down the protein bonds within dead skin cells, allowing hard skin and calluses to be removed safely and effectively without harsh filing or rasping.
This treatment is particularly popular before holidays, weddings, special occasions and throughout sandal season.
A standalone Elim peel and scrub treatment is also available for clients wanting treatment for hard skin without the full pedicure service.
SPRAY TANNING
Professional spray tanning is available for clients wanting a natural-looking glow for holidays, weddings, events or simply everyday confidence.
Sue’s approach is always to create a believable, even finish that suits your skin tone rather than an overly dark or artificial look.
Full body and half body tanning options are available.
Advice pre-treatment and post-treatment will always be provided to help you get the best and longest-lasting results from your tan.
